You may not realize it, but you already improvise – all the time, everyday.
Improvisation is really just any unplanned responses or actions you have with
others. But, did you know that you can be much better at improvising by
practicing? You can “exercise” your improvisation skills through Applied
Improvisation in APDA’s Improv for PD workshop – a free, fun, creative, laughter-
filled multi-week course with others in the PD Community (people with
Parkinson’s, caregivers, friends & family, medical professionals, & others).

Practice skills like voice modulation, volume, & clarity. Flex facial expressions
and movement through endorphin & dopamine raising fun activities. Have fun &
laugh a lot in this supportive atmosphere where you can express yourself
authentically as you Celebrate Mistakes, strengthen Presence and Acceptance,
and emphasize Teamwork while Connecting with Others in your PD
community.

This workshop is led by experienced Improv performers/ comedians/ instructors.
No prior Improv or performing experience needed. Care Partners & Others are
welcome to join you in the fun!
