Boston, MA – Crescendo Chorus

Crescendo Chorus is a therapeutic singing group for people with PD. The group is lead by a Neurologic Music Therapist and LSVT Speech Language Pathologists.

Cambridge, MA – Crescendo Chorus

Crescendo Chorus is a therapeutic singing group for people with PD. Participation can help improve audibility, volume, and articulation. This program is open to all, regardless of music experience.

Concord, MA – Concord Conservatory of Music Singing with Parkinson’s

“Singing with Parkinson’s” offers people in the community an opportunity to participate in voice therapy while singing, performing and experiencing the joy of making music. The chorus covers songs from a variety of genres, and input from the group will help guide the repertoire. This choir is for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and care partners. All ages and all levels of singing ability are welcome.

Hingham, MA – South Shore Conservatory Parkinson’s Chorus

Singing with Parkinson’s is a chorus for persons living with Parkinson’s disease and their care partners. Each session is one hour of rehearsal, followed by 30 minutes of optional social time with refreshments. Staffing consists of a board-certified music therapist who has been trained in neurologic music therapy, a board-certified movement/dance therapist, and a world-class accompanist. A typical session begins with easy movement and vocal warmups, followed by singing of both well-known and new repertoire with live accompaniment. Social time provides ample opportunity for engagement and connection. This program is supported by the American Parkinson Disease Association Massachusetts Chapter.

This program will take place both in-person and via Zoom.

Newton, MA – Tremble Clefs Choral Singing

Tremble Clefs is a singing group for people with PD and their care partners. The group can help with Parkinson’s-related voice and communication challenges using LSVT inspired techniques. MGH Speech and Language therapists consult to the program. NO singing experience is required. Registration is required.

The Choral Singing Program for Parkinson’s offers a therapeutic singing program in Shrewsbury, MA. A $10 donation is appreciated. This event is open to individuals with Parkinson’s and their care partners.
