Parkinson’s Roadmap for Education and Support Services

TWO upcoming sessions!

  • Grimes, Iowa: Meeting weekly on Tuesdays, starting April 28th through June 16th from 10:00 am – 11:30 am

The APDA PRESS™ support group will be open to anyone diagnosed within the last 5 years. This 8-week closed group offers people with Parkinson’s and their family members a safe, supportive space to connect with others, share coping strategies, and discuss day-to-day life with PD. Facilitated by a healthcare professional, the group also provides education, resources, and connections to local advocacy and services.

PRESS ON™ is a FREE eight-week education and support program for those who have been living with Parkinson’s disease (PD) for five or more years and their care partners. This 8-week program offers you and your loved ones PD support, education and resources to help you along your PD journey. Conducted in small groups, the format allows for in-depth and personalized discussions.

If you’ve been diagnosed with Parkinson’s in the past two years, PD Essentials is a one-hour session—offered in person or on Zoom—where you can ask questions, ease concerns, and get connected to helpful local and national resources.
