PRESS ON™ (Parkinson’s Roadmap for Education and Support Services™)

This special 8-week program is for people who are in the middle stages of Parkinson’s disease. PRESS ON offers the opportunity to connect with others with Parkinson’s disease for emotional support and sharing. The group also provides education about the progression of Parkinson’s disease and planning for the future.


Telehealth and Parkinson’s

Managing Parkinson’s isn’t just about physical symptoms—it’s about emotional well-being, confidence, and having access to care when questions or concerns arise. This session explores how telehealth is expanding access to medical guidance, mental health support, and wellness resources, helping individuals and care partners feel supported between appointments and during life’s everyday challenges.


2026 Atlanta Optimism Walk for Parkinson’s

Walkers will come together nationwide in 2026 to step towards supporting all people affected by Parkinson’s disease. Your fundraising dollars at the Atlanta, Georgia Optimism Walk for Parkinson’s will go directly toward supporting local community programs and services, expanding access to help more people with Parkinson’s disease live life to the fullest.


Navigating Life with Parkinson’s Disease

Join APDA Georgia for a practical, empowering educational program designed to help you feel more confident in day-to-day living with Parkinson’s. You’ll hear from expert speakers on speech and swallowing strategies, strength, balance, and freezing-of-gait hacks, and non-motor symptoms and medications—plus enjoy lunch served on-site.
