April 20th, 2024, Stomp Out Parkinson’s Ride!

Join us in Richmond this year on April 20th for a Ride for Parkinson’s! We will be ending at Cul’s Courthouse Grille in Charles City to speak about Parkinson’s and all the work our chapter does to support the Parkinson’s community in Virginia (and to party!). Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Golden Corral on 2501 Conduit Road, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. All vehicles welcome!

April 20th, 2024, FIGHT BACK! “Thrilla with Vanilla” Release Party Fundraiser by the Virginia Beer Company

Punch Out Parkinson’s with a brand new sour ale made with love in collaboration with APEX Physical Therapy and Movement Center and the Virginia Beer Company! Proceeds from the purchase of this ale (to go or at the event) will go towards the Optimism Walk! Hang out with APEX at the Virginia Beer Company on Saturday or stop by with us on your way home from the Stomp Out Parkinson’s Motorcycle Ride. Busy Saturday!

April 30th, 2024, Wellness Webinar Series

Join APDA Virginia on April 30th at 1pm EST to review the methods and importance of practicing Mindfulness and Meditation while on a Parkinson’s journey. This presentation will be done by Dr. John Bales of UVA and a special introduction by Dina Weddle of Kyowa Kirin. This webinar will be recorded and posted on our chapter’s YouTube channel.
