The Foundation for Rehabilitation Equipment & Endowment (F.R.E.E.) is a volunteer-led non-profit organization based in the state of Virginia. They collect, sanitize, and gift a range of donated mobility-related rehabilitation equipment to low-income uninsured or under-insured adults in Virginia. Locations in Roanoke, Richmond, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, Lynchburg, Winchester, & Harrisonburg Eligible individuals can apply for the following types of equipment: Manual and power wheelchairs, Walkers and wheeled walkers (U-Step & Rollator), Canes and crutches, Bath and toilet aids, Hoyer lifts, and Other specialty equipment.
