This episode focused on the importance of driving assessments, how PD can affect driving ability over time, the signs that it may be time to modify driving habits, and practical guidance for family members and loved ones on how to approach this delicate conversation with care, empathy, and respect.

About Our Speaker
KELSEE HOVE, OTD, OTR/L, CBIS, DRP
Kelsee Hove has been an Iowa-licensed occupational therapist since 2012. She graduated from The University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in Family Services and has a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Creighton University. Kelsee is the Director of Clinical Education and Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy at Des Moines University and also a practicing clinical occupational therapist at a rehab facility. She completed a certificate in Driver Rehabilitation through the University of Florida in 2019, has a Driver Rehabilitation Professional micro credential through the Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists, and is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist through The Brain Injury Association of America. Kelsee has also completed research in the area of brain injury intervention, concussion management, and driving rehabilitation.
