Illinois Support Groups

Building Community, Sharing Support

Joining a Parkinson’s support group is a powerful way to connect with others who understand your experience, learn more about Parkinson’s disease, and discover practical ways to manage the challenges of living with PD. APDA offers free Parkinson’s support groups across Illinois for individuals at every stage of the journey, including:

  • People newly diagnosed with PD
  • Individuals who have been living with PD for many years
  • People with young-onset PD
  • Care partners, family members, and loved ones

Our support groups meet both in person at locations throughout Illinois and virtually via Zoom, making it easy to find an option that fits your schedule and comfort level. All APDA support groups are led by trained.
