Join us for the APDA Optimism Walk!

Walkers will come together nationwide in 2026 to step forward in support of all people affected by Parkinson’s disease. Your fundraising dollars at the Illinois Optimism Walk for Parkinson’s will go directly to the local community, expanding programs and services to help more people with Parkinson’s disease live life to the fullest, and funding cutting-edge research to find better treatments and ultimately a cure.

Time: 9:00 am – Check-in Opens 11:00 am – Opening Ceremony & Walk Starts

Location: NAPERVILLE RIVERWALK PAVILION 912 Honorary Sindt Memorial Court | Naperville, IL

Rain or shine! Dogs are NOT permitted. (Service animals only, please.)  

Individuals will earn our great incentive prizes along the way!

• Raise $100+: Receive a 2026 Optimism Walk Shirt
• Raise $500+:  Receive an exciting limited edition APDA-branded item**
• Raise $1,000+: Become a Circle of Optimism Member**, where you will be recognized during the Opening Ceremony and receive a medal.
• Raise $2,500+ Team Incentive: teams who meet this minimum will earn a reserved picnic table at the walk!
