The APDA New York Information & Referral Centers work tirelessly every day to support and empower those in our community who are impacted by Parkinson’s disease (PD). We promote hope and optimism through innovative services, programs, education, and support, while also funding vital research. We are here to help you and your loved ones every step of the way.

education and support program for
those diagnosed with Parkinson’s
disease (PD) in the last five years
and their care partners.

Living Well with Parkinson’s:

Join us Monday, March 30, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, either in person or virtually, for an engaging and informative program designed for people living with Parkinson’s and their care partners.

An educational seminar featuring our keynote speaker, Rebecca Gilbert, MD, PhD, Chief Mission Officer of the APDA and a practicing Movement Disorder Specialist

Dr. Gilbert will share valuable insights and practical information to support those living with Parkinson’s and the people who care for them.

For those attending in person, lunch will be provided (you may indicate dietary restrictions on the registration form). Additional details can be found in the attached flyer. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Personas con Parkinson y sus Familias

La Asociación de Enfermedad de Parkinson ofrecerá una
actividad gratuita en español para compartir, aprender y fortalecer la comunidad mientras se disfruta de dominó, bingo y una cena. Este evento contará con la participación de la Dra. Hiral Shah, neuróloga y especialista en trastornos del movimiento en el Instituto Neurológico
del Columbia University Irving Medical Center, quien compartirá información valiosa, responderá preguntas y fomentará un espacio de
diálogo y apoyo.

Durante la actividad, los participantes podrán:
– Aprender más sobre la enfermedad de Parkinson
– Intercambiar experiencias y recursos
– Conectarse con otras personas que comparten esta trayectoria
– Disfrutar de un momento ameno en comunidad


Esta actividad en español está abierta a toda la comunidad, así como a cualquier adulto que haya sido diagnosticado con la enfermedad de
Parkinson (EP), y a sus cuidadores y familiares adultos.
