APDA’s three-year Strategic Plan guides our work every day. It keeps us focused on our mission, centered on our priorities, and driven by what matters most – serving and supporting the Parkinson’s disease community.
APDA Strategic Mission Priorities: 2025-2027

- Expand our reach and impact by bringing our programs and resources, health and wellness activities, education and support initiatives, and research outcomes to everyone affected by PD.
- Create impactful programs and resources that focus on unmet needs of the PD community.
- Forge new national and local partnerships and collaborations with a focus on identifying and serving under-resourced, under-studied, and under-engaged communities who need us most.
- Ensure that APDA is a vital part of everyone with PD’s health care team.
- Expand our research grant program that serves as a beacon of hope to the PD community.
- Firmly establish APDA as an indispensable ally throughout every unique Parkinson’s disease experience.
- Expand and diversify sustainable support for APDA’s mission.
- Advance federal and state policy and funding initiatives to improve outcomes and expand resources for people living with Parkinson’s disease, while strengthening APDA’s community engagement and policy influence nationwide.
