Tami DeAngelis, PT, DPT, Board-Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist
Dr. DeAngelis is the owner of a specialized practice focused on Parkinson’s disease (PD) and other movement disorders. She partners with individuals and families to enhance quality of life through evidence-based movement strategies, education, and comprehensive health management.
With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. DeAngelis has worked extensively with people living with Parkinson’s disease and related movement disorders across a wide range of settings, including acute care, rehabilitation, outpatient, home-based, research, and academic environments. During her time at Boston University, she served as the physical therapist interventionist on multiple research studies and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications focused on Parkinson’s disease and exercise. Dr. DeAngelis was a member of the American Physical Therapy Association guideline development group that
published the Clinical Practice Guideline for Parkinson Disease, an evidence-based guideline based on systematic reviews of current scientific literature.
Dr. DeAngelis serves as an Advisor to the APDA Massachusetts Chapter
Executive Board and has contributed to multiple national educational initiatives with the American Parkinson Disease Association, Inc (APDA), including the Let’s Keep Moving series, participation on an Ask the Experts panel, and PD caregiver training courses.
