Executive Director, Wisconsin Chapter    

Location:
Madison Metro Area

The Role:

The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) is currently seeking an Executive Director in Wisconsin to join their growing organization. This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid role (a blend of work from home and in-person) based in the Madison metro area and will be the sole staff in the market. The Wisconsin Chapter provides support, education, and services to people impacted by Parkinson’s Disease throughout the state and currently generates funds largely through peer-to-peer events and is well poised for explosive growth.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience in the non-profit sector, is familiar with the Wisconsin geography, culture, and the philanthropic market; has a proven track record in major gift fundraising and donor cultivation; has knowledge of Parkinson’s disease and/or chronic illness, the healthcare and social service systems; possesses strong relationship-building skills and communications strengths, the ability to multi-task, deliver exceptional customer service; and utilize keen problem solving and judgment skills.

The Executive Director (ED) provides strategic leadership in the Chapter’s chartered territory, manages human and financial resources, and creates an atmosphere for volunteers, staff, and stakeholders to succeed in meeting the objectives of APDA’s mission. The ED will accomplish this through the development, implementation and evaluation of all Chapter programs and services, events, and operations necessary for efficient functioning and sustainable growth. The ED reports to a Regional Director and works in conjunction with the Chapter’s Board of Directors and with the support and approval of the APDA President and CEO and/or designee(s).


Program Director

Location:
Providence, Rhode Island

The Role:

The American Parkinson Disease Association is currently seeking a Program Director to join their growing
organization. This is a full time, exempt, hybrid role (a blend of work from home and in-person) and must live in Providence Metro Area, to serve the community and attend meetings and events. The ideal candidate is familiar with the Rhode Island geography and culture, has knowledge of Parkinson’s disease, the healthcare, social service, and fundraising environments; has relationship-building skills and communications strengths; and possesses ability to multi-task, deliver exceptional customer service, and utilize keen problem solving and judgment skills.

As a member of the chapter’s management team, the Program Director provides programmatic direction and serves as the key mission leader who is accountable for day-to-day program delivery to individuals impacted by Parkinson Disease, including education, awareness, information and referral, health & wellness, and support groups, and collaborates with program colleagues throughout the organization. The Role:
The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) is currently seeking its first Executive Director in Minnesota to join their growing organization.  This is a full time, exempt, hybrid role (a blend of work from home and in-person) based in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. The Minnesota Chapter provides support, education, and services to people impacted by Parkinson’s Disease throughout the state. Operating a $300,000 revenue budget, the Chapter is well poised for explosive growth.

Fundrasing Event Manager

Greater Atlanta, GA

The Role:
The American Parkinson Disease Association Georgia Chapter is currently seeking a Fundraising and Events Manager (FEM) to join their growing organization and champion development efforts.

The position is a full-time, exempt, remote position, but must live in the Greater Atlanta area, to travel to cultivate donors, and attend events and meetings.

The ideal candidate is passionate about fundraising in a mission-based organization, organized, energetic, and a self-starter with proven experience in achieving fundraising budgets and growing event revenues in a philanthropic environment. This position is ideal for someone with fundraising, marketing, and communications strengths, who can multi-task while prioritizing deadlines, deliver exceptional customer service, and utilize keen problem-solving and judgment skills.

The Fundraising and Events Manager is a key member of the Development Team responsible for executing event-based fundraising for the Georgia Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association, by developing relationships with and securing financial contributions from individuals, businesses and organizations in support of APDA events, activities and programs, by raising public awareness to maximize service delivery and revenue generation potential, delivering high-quality customer service, and represent APDA to internal and external stakeholders, donors, prospects, and the public. Fundraising and Events Manager

The Role:
The American Parkinson Disease Association is currently seeking a Fundraising and Events Manager to join their growing organization. The position is a full time, exempt position that is based in the Seattle Office. The Fundraising and Events Manager represents APDA to internal and external stakeholders, donors, prospects, and the public and plays a critical role in the organization being able to successfully accomplish the goals of the strategic plan by raising funds to support its mission: “Every day, we provide the support, education, research, and community that will help everyone impacted by Parkinson’s disease live life to the fullest.”

The ideal candidate is passionate about fundraising in a mission-based organization, organized, energetic, and a self-starter with proven experience in organizing and managing large scale fundraising events, achieving fundraising budgets and growing event revenues in a philanthropic environment. This position is ideal for someone with fundraising, marketing, and communications strengths, who can multi-task while prioritizing deadlines, deliver exceptional customer service, and utilize keen problem-solving and judgment skills.

The Fundraising and Events Manager is a key member of the Development Team responsible for executing event-based fundraising for the Northwest Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association, by developing relationships with and securing financial contributions from individuals, businesses and organizations in support of APDA events, activities and programs, by raising public awareness to maximize service delivery and revenue generation potential, and delivering high- quality customer service. This position has accountability to execute three fundraising events with revenue accountability of $900,000-$1,000,000 annually with desired (minimum) 8% YOY growth.
