Gloria is the Senior Director of Social Work Services at the Barry and Florence Friedberg JCC and a trained psychotherapist providing consultation and individual and group counseling to adults and their families. She has been an adjunct professor at the Adelphi University School of Social Work and a field instructor for social work students. Gloria has special expertise facilitating support groups and gives presentations on working with individuals who have experienced loss, chronic illness or emotional impairment. Gloria has extensive experience working as a case manager and is knowledgeable about community resources and entitlements. She has special interest in the field of mental health and bereavement and working with individuals with Parkinson’s disease and their families.
