Will

Where there is a will, there is a way. Your support means continuous APDA growth.

All bequests, regardless of size, indicate your commitment to help those who suffer from Parkinson's disease. Your bequest may be unrestricted or designated for patient service or medical research. You can make the American Parkinson Disease Association, Inc. beneficiary of a life insurance policy or trust. Bequests may be made in your name or in honor of a loved one.

A brochure containing valuable information addresses why you need a will; whether an attorney is necessary; reasons to keep your will current and other related subjects.

It is important to understand that no estate is too small when it comes to proper distribution by a will. Many of us tend to underestimate the size of our estate until we actually begin the process of identifying all our assets.

Most importantly remember that regardless of the size of your estate, if you don't have your own will, the state will make one for you. The state will not consider your wishes or intentions and it may even charge your estate fees for administering your estate.

Bequests to the American Parkinson Disease Association, Inc. are exempt from federal estate taxes. To obtain a copy of our brochure or for further information please contact Mr. Joel Gerstel at: 1-800-223-2732.
