Stephanie Paul came to APDA in 2013 from The Avon Foundation for Women, where she served as the Director of Fundraising responsible for leading a team that generated more than $50 million annually. The Avon Foundation for Women is the largest corporate-affiliated foundation focused on causes that most impact women and through 2012 Avon global philanthropy raised and donated more than $910 million.
While at The Avon Foundation for Women, Ms. Paul was responsible for multiple fundraising campaigns including the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer series, Speak Out Against Domestic Violence, and the Annual Awards Gala. Since 2003, through the inspired work of 180,000 participants, the Avon Walk raised and donated more than $472 million to breast cancer programs. The Speak Out Against Domestic Violence initiative, established to build awareness, educate, and improve prevention and direct services programs, provided more than $33 million for the domestic violence cause through 2012, and the Annual Awards Gala raised in excess of $22 million since 2001 to support the scope of Avon's philanthropic efforts.
Blending both corporate and non-profit experience, Ms. Paul has held leadership roles with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as Director of Travel & Meeting Services and later Regional Director, and as Assistant Vice President for Corporate and Client Events for Merrill Lynch & Company, managed events including client development programs at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics, French Open, and U.S. Open. She also was a Senior Conference Planner for McKinsey & Company, and a consultant for Bankers Trust Company, Real Estate Finance Group.
Ms. Paul received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, N.J.
