Partners In Parkinson's

The American Parkinson Disease Association, a National Participating Partner in Partners in Parkinson's, invites you and your family to attend a Partners in Parkinson's event on:

Saturday, October 1, 2016 Jacob K. Javits Convention Center 655 West 34th Street New York, NY 10001

Partners in Parkinson's aims to help patients and caregivers gain knowledge and support for navigating a Parkinson's diagnosis and progression in order to optimize care at every stage of the disease. Whether you're new to Parkinson's or have been living with the disease for years, attend this free event to learn about living with Parkinson's disease, building the right care team (including when and how to seek specialist care), ask your own questions, and connect with local Parkinson's resources in your own community. Sign up today.

A full day of interactive panel discussions and breakout sessions will focus on living with Parkinson's from diagnosis through advanced disease. You can also browse a resource fair to meet and connect with leaders from your local medical and Parkinson's community, such as local clinicians and movement disorder specialists, allied care providers specializing in Parkinson's disease, research sites conducting local studies, and support and advocacy organizations.

As National Participating Partner, the American Parkinson Disease Association, will be on site at the event's resource fair with resources and information to help with your Parkinson diagnosis.

Partners in Parkinson's has been developed by The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research and AbbVie to help fill in knowledge gaps, provide new educational tools and resources, and empower patients and families to take a proactive role in their care today and in the future.

We look forward to seeing you there!
